Terms & Conditions – The Face Painting Company
1. Services Provided
The Face Painting Company agrees to provide professional face painting on the agreed date and time.
A 50% deposit is due to confirm booking prior to the event
Payment in full is due before any services commence. Remaining 50% can be paid via bank transfer 1 week prior to the event or in cash on the day prior to any services taking place.
Bookings are only confirmed once the deposit has been received. Late payments may result in forfeiture of the booking slot.
Cancellation Policy:
- If the event is cancelled less than two weeks before the scheduled date, the deposit will be forfeited as a cancellation fee.
- Cancellations due to inclement weather are not eligible for refunds. The Client is responsible for arranging an indoor/covered alternative.
- If a performer cannot attend due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued.
3. Liability
While all reasonable care will be taken, The Face Painting Company will not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage during or after services. This includes:
- Allergic reactions or adverse effects from face painting, balloon twisting materials, bubble solution or services - Any staining to clothing, furniture, or other items caused by the products used or hazards from slipping, popping balloons or unsafe/ unintended use.
4. Health & Safety
- The Face Painting Company will not paint individuals with open wounds, contagious illnesses, infections, or head lice.
- Children under the age of 3 years will not be painted.
- Face painting will only be performed on willing participants. The Client agrees to inform all participants or their guardians and obtain consent.
5. Setup Requirements
- The Client must provide a suitable indoor or sheltered area protected from rain, wind, and sun.
- If indoor cover is not available and The Face Painting Company must provide shelter, additional charges will apply.
- In temperatures above 32°C, services must be conducted indoors.
- Services may be refused if conditions are deemed unsafe or unsuitable.
6. Behaviour Policy
Abusive or disrespectful behaviour towards staff will result in immediate termination of services without refund.
7. Timing & Attendance
- Services are available only during the agreed time and location.
- Delays caused by the Client or venue will not extend service time.
- If attendees exceed the advised number, not all may be painted or receive balloons.
- The estimated number of faces painted is 10–12 per hour for larger designs. Smaller designs may be used if needed to accommodate busy open to public events.
- Additional time may be added with mutual agreement and payment.
8. Parking & Travel Fees
- Any parking fees incurred are the Client’s responsibility and must be reimbursed or paid in advance.
- A travel fee may apply based on the event location.
9. Termination Clause
Either party may terminate this Agreement in writing. The Face Painting Company may cancel services without refund in cases involving:
- Abusive behaviour
- Safety concerns
- Non-payment or contract breach
10. Photography Consent
- With permission, The Face Painting Company may take photos for marketing purposes. - No photos will be taken without express consent.
- All photos will be used respectfully and appropriately.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
12. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements.

By confirming your booking and making payment you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions..
